Eugene Housing Options

If you want to live close to campus, you should try to find something well before fall term begins. With your student ID, you have access to the city bus system so you have free transportation if you choose to live farther out. Eugene is very bike friendly with over 200 miles of bike paths and it’s easy to get around town. LTD buses are equipped with bicycle racks.

University Apartments
Family Housing and University Apartments offer a wonderful environment suited for students with children and graduate students. All admitted, full-time students are eligible to apply for our apartments and family housing, however assignments are based on the priority guidelines.

The Register Guard Classifieds
The classified section of the Register Guard offers daily listings and is a great resource for information. The RG allows you to search for real estate for rent and real estate for sale.

Cooperative Student Housing
The Student’s Cooperative Association is a student-owned housing organization that offers cooperative living arrangements in houses owned by members. There are three houses right on the edge of campus, including one geared toward graduate students. Membership includes both room and board; members share responsibility for the daily functions of the house.

Oregon Daily Emerald Classifieds
The University of Oregon’s own daily publishes classified ads for rentals, roommates and more. This is another good resource if you’re looking for lodging close to campus.
