The Biology Microcomputer Lab is a drop-in computing facility located in
33 Klamath Hall, on the University of Oregon campus. We provide a wide
range of computer resources, including 20 G4 eMac computers, 3 Windows
XP PCs, a color scanner, and three double-sided laser printers (one is a color laser). These items
are available for use by students, faculty, and staff in the Biology
Department. Our lab assistants can aid students with all sorts of computer
problems, and can help faculty with computer questions, including how
to make web pages. We also provide computers for classroom use in Biology
labs. Our goal is to use computer technology to enhance and support
the educational mission of the UO Department of Biology.
